Welcome to Portland Planning, a planning consultancy established and run by Gillian Davidson since the year 2000, operating mainly within Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and North London.

Gillian offers the full range of planning advice and planning development consultancy.

She has been working in Town and Country Planning since 1986 in private practice and local government and is an active member of the Royal Town Planning Institute - the RTPI.

Having graduated in 1986, she worked at both County and District levels in local government covering policy and development management and founded Portland Planning in 2000. Her clients include landowners, developers, businesses, householders, solicitors, architects, surveyors and Councils.

Gillian has handled the full range of planning matters from large Public Inquiries to home extensions.
